  • Conduct coronal polishing

  • Perform light hand-scaling (as allowed by certification)

  • Apply fluoride treatments

Sterilization & Equipment Maintenance

  • Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and operatory rooms to ensure patient safety.

Administrative Support

  • Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records.

  • Deliver post-operative instructions and reinforce treatment plans.

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license, issued by the Dental Board of California

  • Current CPR Certification (BLS or ACLS)

  • Dental assisting experience preferred but not required

  • Solid knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Skills & Competencies

  • High level of competency in assisting with general and specialized dental procedures

  • Excellent organization and attention to detail

  • Team-oriented with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced clinical setting

Note: This is a temporary-to-permanent position. Candidates will be evaluated during the temporary period with the opportunity for permanent hire based on performance, reliability, and fit within the team.
